Frequently asked questions

Is AlpineConsent available today?
Not yet as a public product. AlpineConsent is in Phase 0 of the roadmap — the core engine and WordPress plugin are being built now. See the blog and changelog for real progress.
Does AlpineConsent make my site GDPR compliant?
AlpineConsent is designed to help you meet GDPR, the Austrian TKG 2021, and the German TDDDG requirements around cookie consent specifically — equal-prominence Accept/Reject, prior-blocking, and exportable consent logs. It's one part of compliance, not a substitute for your own legal review.
Will it slow my site down?
The core loader has a hard, CI-enforced budget of 5 KB gzipped. If a feature doesn't fit that budget, it's deferred rather than squeezed in.
Which platforms are supported?
WordPress ships as part of the MVP. PrestaShop and Shopify connectors are planned for later phases — see the roadmap. Any other site can use the universal script tag once it's live.
Does it work with WordPress caching plugins?
That's designed in from the start — the plugin flushes WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, and W3 Total Cache automatically on settings save, and purges Cloudflare if a token is configured.
Is there a free tier?
Yes — the Free/Starter tier covers up to 10,000 pageviews/month. See the pricing page for the full tier breakdown.
Where is consent data hosted?
Within the EU by default.
