Pick your platform for integration instructions. This page shows real, current instructions where they exist, and says plainly where they don't yet.

The path that ships first — WordPress support is part of the MVP, not a later add-on.

  1. Submitted to the WordPress.org plugin directory, awaiting the team's manual review (automated scan already passed) — once approved, install it the normal way: Plugins → Add New, search "AlpineConsent", Install Now, Activate. Until then, upload the wordpress-plugin/ directory to /wp-content/plugins/alpineconsent instead.
  2. Activate it — the real banner is enqueued automatically, no theme edits needed.
  3. Go to Settings → AlpineConsent — tracked scripts are found automatically, with a suggested category already filled in for well-known trackers. Assign a category to any you want held until consent.
  4. On the same screen, customize the banner: layout (modal, top/bottom bar, or floating), title and description text, which buttons show and whether they look like buttons or links, and your own Privacy Policy / Cookie Policy / Imprint links. The banner's language follows your site's own WordPress language setting.

Requires WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 8.0+. Automatic theme-matching with your site's colors/fonts isn't built yet.
